Organic almonds

The almond is a nut whose flesh never becomes juicy. It contains a cracked and woody core, the seed of which is also called almond. It's this pale, crunchy oilseed that we eat. Originally from Central Asia, known to the Romans as the "Greek nut" it was used as the fruit of fertility. We put almonds in the bread served to the Pharaohs and the Bible says that almonds are a symbol of hope.
