Organic roasted salted pistachios in shell

7.000 years before J.C., our ancestors already harvested the fruit of the pistachio tree on the Mediterranean rim. Legends even report that the pistachio was prized by the greats of old, like the Queen of Sheba, who reserved the exclusivity of its consumption. Initially used as a dye, especially in India, it was also very early noticed for its high energy value, and traveled the Silk Road from Asia to Europe to conquer the hearts and stomachs of Westerners. Today, its cultivation has spread to the United States where California is a master in its production, with 98% of the total production.
