BUT WHERE DOES THE IDEA COME FROM?
After touring France with our farmers on their farms. I was able to familiarize myself with their incredible job, see and understand on the ground the reality of food waste and the problems that our farmers have to overcome.
The reality is that they are forced to throw away tons of fruit and vegetables, because nature does not decide to make only straight, calibrated, perfect, beautiful products... and the vagaries of the weather are a source of surplus or, conversely, reduced quantities.
This is where Topinamour was born: to help and promote our farmers, but also to give consumers the opportunity to act against food waste by offering fruits and vegetables at low prices, rejected from distribution channels.
