TOZAIME combines the beauty secrets of the geishas (TO = EAST) with findings from western plant research (ZAI = West) for your ME time, your personal time out.
Fascinated by depictions of their delicate beauty in traditional woodcut images, the ukiyo-e, we set out years ago to search for the secrets of their charisma. And we came across old records in which recipes for skin care that were up to 400 years old were recorded.
Behind the geishas' intensive make-up was perfectly cared for skin. This was the only way they could deal with the stress of applying make-up without harm: with carefully prepared products for a natural glow.
The sophisticated elegance of geishas has captivated us at TOZAIME since our founding. At first glance they seem glamorous and magnificent. But a closer look reveals the whole world of her delicate gestures, which also reflect her inner strength.
Many geisha records are dedicated to skin health and natural radiance. With ingredients directly from nature, from flowers, plants and minerals to the cooking water of the rice. It also contains information about stimulating blood circulation and thus beauty from within.

Our founder Marie, who has a doctorate in chemistry, is responsible for developing the recipes. As a French native, she has been surrounded by people who value natural beauty since she was a child.
