It was Mr. Jeangeorges, great-grandfather of William TRAPON, who started trading wild mushrooms in 1949 after the war. the villages of Livradois Forez to buy dried porcini mushrooms at the start of its activity. Once the ceps season was dry, he left to deliver his customers with his Tube Citroën.

William Trapon's grandmother also took over from her father. She began to work with new varieties of fresh wild mushrooms such as fresh chanterelle mushrooms, fresh porcini mushrooms, fresh pine morels, fresh meadow mushrooms, fresh St George's tricholoma, fresh charcoal etc...

It was the turn of Jean-Pierre and Joëlle Trapon (son-in-law and daughter of Jacqueline and Paul Bravard) to take up the torch in the early 1970s. fresh to Switzerland, fresh morels to Japan etc...

In the 1990s William Trapon and his wife joined the company and launched sales with large retailers. Thus fresh porcini mushrooms, fresh chanterelle mushrooms, fresh trumpets of death, fresh sheep's feet, wild asparagus and other fresh wild blueberries are found on the shelves packaged in 250 g trays or in 1 and 3 kg packages.

In 2006 William and Cécile Trapon moved into the company's current premises of nearly 3,000m².
They have been joined over the years by an increasingly young and dynamic team to best serve all of their customers...

This year, it will therefore be 70 years since the family of William Trapon sends fresh wild mushrooms all over the planet, the company sends fresh wild mushrooms to all continents, from Lyon to Bordeaux, Brussels or Milan, Seattle or Singapore, Dubai or Tokyo, Johannesburg or Sydney.
