Très Bien: how it all started
Très Bien is a family business that was founded in 1971 and started as a nut shop on the fish market in Groningen. In 1982 a specialty nut shop was opened on Stoeldraaierstraat, which can still be found there today. In 2010, a wholesaler was also added to the Oeverkruid, where you will find traditional, organic and chocolate cuisine. All products are delivered fresh here, stored and possibly processed. In addition, certain products are also produced entirely in-house.
The most important values of Très Bien are doing fair trade and selling only the best quality products. The nuts come from all over the world, to be sure of the best quality. For example, the macadamias come from the town of Bundaberg in Australia, where the tastiest and creamiest macadamias grow. The suppliers are regularly visited to ensure that the nuts are unsprayed and that no child labor is involved. We can therefore say with certainty that all products are Fair Trade.
