Composition: Long Pepper. Java Pepper is native to northeast India, in the foothills of the Himalayas where it still grows wild. This Pepper was known and appreciated at the French court long before the other varieties we know today. This very curious Pepper due to its kitten shape can measure up to 3 cm. Coming from a bushy shrub, these berries are harvested and then simply dried in the sun. Amazing aromas of licorice, anise, hot and pungent cinnamon.
