ROSEMARY

Ingredients: Rosemary. From the Latin Rosmarinus officinalis, rosemary is a shrub of the Lamiaceae (or labiate) family, growing wild around the Mediterranean, particularly in arid and rocky scrubland, on limestone soils. This condiment herb is found in Mediterranean cuisine. Its smell, very camphorated, also evokes incense from which it owes its name "censer" in Provençal.
