It indicates when the contents of the cartridge need to be changed and refilled (max. 30 days or 150L). Once the contents of the cartridge have been changed, the timer can be reset by holding down the start button for a few seconds.The filter cartridge is the part that is filled with filter granules. These granules can be easily poured inside the cartridge. The cartridge consists of two elements (base and cover) and a mesh. The mesh prevents granules from leaving the filtration system and flowing into the Pure Filter Jug.The hopper is stable and fixed inside the pitcher.The pitcher has a total capacity of 2.6 liters.Instructions for filling the cartridge: Open the cartridge, remove the old pellets and dispose of them in the trash (not suitable for composting). Clean and dry all parts of the filter jug properly.Open a new refill bag with pellets and fill the cartridge with its contents.After filling, close the cartridge tightly.Fill your carafe (or bowl) with water and let the cartridge soak for 15 minutes. Soaking allows the granules to work best to provide filtered water.After soaking, remove the water from the pitcher and place the cartridge in the hopper.Fill the hopper with water and wait for the water to filter. This process must be done twice. Do not drink the first two servings of filtered water. You can use it, for example, to water flowers. From the 3rd filling, the water can be used for drinking, cooking, making coffee or tea, etc. Reset the filter indicator timer located on the lid.Clean the product (all components) before first use.Use only treated tap water supplied by urban districts.The filter is designed for use with cold water only (no syrup, carbonated drinks, etc.). Maximum quantity of filtered water per day: 7.5L (Reason: the ion exchange resin needs time to bring the active ingredients to the surface).Maximum quantity of filtered water per filling of granules: 150L (depending on the composition of the tap water).Maximum duration of use with one filling of granules: 30 days.The cartridge must be kept moist at all times. When the water level in the carafe approaches the bottom of the filter base, the carafe should be refilled. If the filter is not used for 1 or 2 days, soak the cartridge again for 15 minutes and do not use the first fill. After that, the filter works normally again.It is recommended to store the product away from direct sunlight.It is recommended to clean the pitcher and hopper once a week.The filled cartridge can be removed and set aside.The activated carbon sachet contains small granules.
