This special wine is named after an old monastery (“Mor Yakup”) in Mesopotamia of which only the entrance remains as the last reminder of this once important holy place. Together with all the other remains of the rich past, it forms a nice balance with the churches and monasteries that have been restored in the style of yesteryear. This wine is also rock solid, made from the indigenous Bogazkere grape.
