Seagrass Basket

Practical and durable, the basket is made from seagrass which grows naturally in abundance in the low-lying areas of Bangladesh. The Bangladesh government encourages the growth of seagrass as it plays an important part in stabilising the soil, and protecting the land from flooding. Our seagrass basket has won a national environmental award for using this very important plant.
