And here is the fruit of the first collaboration with fairtradeegypt whose work we have admired for so many years! A small box woven by women from Shalateen near Marsa Allam in the very south of Egypt. The little symbolic heart of our collections was crocheted there by another community of women from the town of Helwan near Cairo. Dimensions h 10 cm d 8 cm
