Created in 2010 by Régis, a passionate beekeeper from Charente-Maritime, Un Toit Pour Les Abeilles takes concrete action for the preservation of bees and the support of French beekeepers. Aware of the problem surrounding the collapse of bee colonies and the consequences for the industry and for biodiversity, he created a network of beekeepers which became national.
Over the years, one thing has become clear: producing quality honey is not enough if beekeepers are not paid what they are worth. Between competition from imported honeys, blends with sometimes opaque origins and constant pressure on prices, many French producers struggle to make a living from their work.
It is from this conviction that Farouche was born.
Farouche is a French honey brand that puts the beekeeper back at the heart of the process. Each honey is harvested in France, from committed beekeepers, then selected for its character, floral origin and taste qualities. Behind each spoon lies a terroir, a season, a know-how and the patient work of the bees.
Our ambition is simple: to offer delicious, authentic and 100% French honeys, while guaranteeing fairer compensation for those who produce them. Because exceptional honey deserves as much respect as the women and men who harvest it.
Choosing Farouche means choosing more responsible consumption. It means supporting French beekeeping, preserving biodiversity and restoring value to a living product, shaped by nature rather than by industry.
Our commitment has been the same since day one: to protect bees, support beekeepers and offer honey whose story we know, from the apiary to your table.
