VEGDOG is a young Munich-based company that has been on its way to becoming the European market leader in vegan dog food since 2015.
Founder Tessa developed a passion for animals at an early age. When her German Shepherd mix, Nelsen, developed a food allergy, Tessa, on the advice of her veterinarian and in the absence of alternatives on the market, began cooking for him herself and developing plant-based recipes that met his needs. This is how VEGDOG was born – to fill the gap in the market and offer other dog owners in similar situations a healthy alternative.
With VEGDOG, it's easy to feed your dog the best possible food while supporting animal welfare and the climate. Plant-based foods exclude the most common allergens in dogs and are therefore ideal for people with food allergies.
VEGDOG products are developed in collaboration with veterinarians and are comprehensively tested for their nutritional content and tolerability. Our constantly growing product range offers something for every dog's taste: wet and dry food as complete pet food, nutritional supplements, and a colorful assortment of snacks for training sessions, dental care, or simply a tasty treat between meals.
