Verduijn's Fine Biscuits is a modern Dutch family business founded in 1935 and specializing in the production and sale of fine and crispy butter cookies and wafers with original and gourmet flavors. All wafers are still made in the traditional way between waffle irons which, combined with high quality ingredients, give a very typical crispy taste! Waffle irons were first used by the Vikings of northern Europe in the Middle Ages to bake a cake in a fire. When the Vikings conquered central Europe in 834, they introduced this manufacturing technique to the Netherlands. We use the best ingredients like Parmesan and Rosemary in our recipes.
