The idea behind Vetain came about in 2019. All of the vegan protein powders on the market either tasted extremely artificial, sandy or were packed with inferior ingredients and additives.
Over two years, the two founders worked together with other athletes, nutritionists, a sports doctor and a laboratory to develop what is probably the highest quality and tastiest vegan protein powder. Since they both consume their protein powder themselves every day, you can be sure that only the best ingredients are used here!
In addition to the high quality of the products, the team behind Vetain does everything in its power to make the food industry fairer and more sustainable. So they source all of their raw materials regionally, fair trade as far as possible and completely dispense with plastic and aluminum in their products. Together with its partner EdenProjects, the startup is also planting three mangroves per product in Madagascar.
