Volnay Domaine Cyrot-Buthiau 2021

The Volnay appellation is a communal appellation which can also be declined as a Premier Cru. This appellation, like Pommard, only produces red wines. The wines of Volnay are among the most famous in Burgundy. The Volnays from the estate are harvested at the foot of the hillside, on clay-limestone soil. These are elegant wines, full of finesse. Their deep color, their bouquet of red fruits and their very smooth tannins pair wonderfully with white meats or poultry.
