The Sangiovese appears immediately in all its greatness, soft and velvety, with hints of ripe black cherry and a touch of cassis. The tannins are well blended, dense and fleshy. The finish is elegant and persistent. An excellent wine for ageing. In its early years, this wine goes well with all dishes and when aged, it pairs well with roasts, wild game and cheeses.
