Sunlight is one of the most important sources for life on earth - it is essential for it to exist and thrive. But at the same time, sunlight is also the greatest enemy of valuable ingredients in all foods and foods. After natural maturity, the life-enhancing effect of full spectrum sunlight often alters the product and accelerates molecular breakdown. Sunlight can reduce or even destroy the ingredients within a short time. Miron violet glass has the unique property of filtering out the harmful rays of visible light. Furthermore, it is the only type of glass that is partially transparent to some very specific wavelengths (frequencies) of light: the (visible) violet color, UVA or infrared. More specifically, the Miron Violet lens allows light between 380 and 420 nanometers (violet and UVA frequency) to penetrate 25-45% and between 730 and 1,050 nanometers (infrared frequency) transmits about 60%. These parts of the light spectrum appear to energize organic molecules and are therefore beneficial for products packaged in Miron Violet glass. The picture below shows the condition of the products after three weeks in the exact same jar made of clear glass and violet glass. All products shown are from the same batch and were placed in the jars and sealed at the same time. The differences are clearly visible to the naked eye, but in most cases they can also be smelled and tasted.
