FOREST is home. The scent of coniferous wood, the atmosphere after a mild summer rain or the nutty, earthy taste of beechnuts awaken childhood memories in us.
But why are these flavors no longer on our plates? We want to rediscover the forest as a sustainable source of food. As a small family business, we focus on delicious, sustainable and healthy products from forests and forests. Wild collection.
It all started with a walk in the forest and a small, triangular but very aromatic nut. We naturally eat almonds from California or pine nuts from China, but our native nut, the beechnut, is on very few people's menus. We want to change this.

Our small family business comes from the Eifel. In beautiful Maifeld, in the shadow of Burg Eltz, we, Johannes and Zaneta Frankenfeld, with our brand WALDGOLD focus on delicious, sustainable and healthy products from forest and wild collections and make the world a little bit better at the same time.

Together with our small team, we work every day to preserve old knowledge and combine it with new methods in order to be able to present you the naturally growing raw materials in the best possible quality and in unique products.
Regardless of whether we stand in the forest and harvest ourselves or whether it is about developing new processes for drying and peeling - no effort is too big for us. We develop our products, create labels and as you can probably see, we also do our marketing and the homepage ourselves. At the end of the day we are still on the market and deliver the products to the customer's door! Everything to ensure that the message of delicious, sustainable and healthy products from forest and wild collections is carried to the world!
