"The summer is such a joyful expansive time. This carefree illustration in happy, summer colours takes children and adults on a journey through the summer festivals, ultimately to the centre, towards the energy and celebration of St Johns tide, Summer Solstice or Litha. The illustration captures Summer; with its animals and people at play - but more than this it gently reminds us of the rocks beneath our feet and the plants around us as we welcome the energy of Summer. In my family this sits at the centre of our dining room table, with little visiting figures and findings. It’s a great way to gently collect memories as we journey through our holidays.
