Ficus Abidjan - Ø27cm - ↕90cm

The Ficus Abidjan is a tropical houseplant that belongs to the ficus family.

It is a beautiful plant with large, glossy leaves that have a lush and green appearance.

The leaves of the Ficus Abidjan are oval-shaped and have a deep green color.

They have a slightly leathery texture and are arranged on slender stems.

The plant can reach a height of about 60-90 centimeters, making it a medium-sized houseplant that fits well in different interiors.

In terms of care, the Ficus Abidjan thrives best in bright, indirect light.

Although it can tolerate some shade, it still needs some light to grow optimally.

It is important to avoid direct sunlight as this can burn the leaves.

As for water needs, it is important to keep the soil slightly moist.

Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings before watering again.

Overwatering can lead to root rot, so make sure the plant is in well-drained soil and that excess water can drain well.

The temperature requirements for the Ficus Abidjan are ideally between 18°C and 24°C.

It thrives at room temperature, but can also tolerate slightly lower temperatures.

As for nutrition, a balanced houseplant fertilizer can be used during the growing season (spring and summer) according to package instructions.

In the winter months the plant needs less nutrition and fertilization can be reduced.

The Ficus Abidjan is generally a fairly easy-to-care plant, but it is important to know that the milky sap in the leaves and stems of the ficus is poisonous.

So keep the plant out of the reach of pets and children and avoid contact with the sap if you are prone to skin irritation.
