A winemaker family with over 300 years of tradition in viticulture.
Our winery is currently managed in the 9th and 10th generation by master winemaker Volker Kolb and his wife Claudia. Since 2009, after passing the journeyman's examination, son Mathias has also been integrated. In 2013 he also completed his training with his master winemaker title.
As a family business, we currently cultivate 80,000 vines on 18 hectares of vineyards.
White grape varieties such as Riesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Silvaner, Rivaner, Huxel, Bacchus are just as at home on our loess loam and clay marl soils in the local communities of Weinolsheim, Dalheim, Uelversheim and Eimsheim as are the red varieties Dornfelder, Pinot Noir, Portugieser and St. Laurent and regent.
From the processing of the harvest, storage and development of the wines to bottling and sale, everything is done in-house.
Our offer is supplemented by the coveted sparkling wine with bottle fermentation, grape brandy, cream liqueur and grape juice.
