reveal the full purity of the material. Each piece is carefully hand-cut by our skilled artisans, guaranteeing the fineness of the lines and the natural transparency of the porcelain. Signe Becker is a designer whose world draws its strength from the poetry of nature.
Originally from northern Norway, she first expressed her sensitivity as a florist,
before pursuing a career in the world of interior design. Driven by the
desire to bring her own visions to life, she founded YLVAYA in 2017.
As the designer and illustrator of each of her creations, Signe imagines unique pieces in biscuit porcelain. Its contemporary lines, imbued with delicacy,
engage in a dialogue with organic forms and reveal the purity of the material. Each vase is born from a long artisanal process, developed in collaboration with master porcelain makers in China, who shape the molds before meticulously executing the finishing touches by hand.
