Organic Geranium Bourbon Essential Oil

Bourbon geranium essential oil, in 5 ml format, is carefully extracted from the leaves and flowers of Bourbon geranium, by our producers in South Africa and Madagascar. 

This essential oil offers an intoxicating, fresh and slightly sweet aroma.

 Bourbon geranium is a perennial shrub that typically reaches a height of around 1 to 1.5 meters. 

It is characterized by its erect stems, velvety leaves and delicate flowers ranging from pale pink to purple. 

Originally from the island of Reunion, formerly called Bourbon, it takes its common name from this region. 

In the early 19th century it was introduced to Europe where it quickly gained popularity due to its aromatic and medicinal qualities.

 Bourbon geranium is mainly grown in tropical and subtropical regions. 

These areas offer optimal climatic conditions with warm temperatures and adequate solar exposure. 

The used parts of this plant are the leaves and stems. 

Harvesting is usually done when the plant is in full bloom, as this is when the essential oil is most concentrated. _________ Directions for use: Take a maximum of 1 drop, twice a day diluted in a teaspoon of honey, vegetable oil or sugar. _________ Precautions for use: Do not use pure or diluted in water.
