The Knights of Round Table Island

A legend tells that a long time ago a merciless battle was fought between neighboring villages. Men were fighting over a precious good, an apparently inexhaustible wealth: water. But their greedy behavior ransacking the river, caused the Rhone to swell with terrible anger. He covered all that men possessed, their houses and their possessions. Realizing their madness, the survivors gathered for a last meal on the island, the one that remained alone in the middle of the waves, around a stone table. They had finally understood and bitterly regretted their attitude. Will the Rhône be sensitive to their remorse? Readers will be able to discover a charter of the knights, inserted at the end of the album. It will give them avenues for reflection and behavior that may be of interest to them on all aspects of today's ecology, and more particularly on water and its importance.
