The lucky experiment is the story of two women - Julia Marie Beckert and Corinna Danner - who met in Munich in 2010. When they met again in 2018 they noticed that independently of each other they had had a very challenging year. They began to write down the myriad of little lifebuoys made up of exercises, tips, and routines that they tossed to each other. The collection grew larger and more extensive until the first bounded lucky experiment appeared in June 2019 and the first deck of cards followed a few months later.

The lucky experiment - living happily and the card set - confetti moments are the perfection of hundreds of lifebuoys and a knowledge gathered from the many training courses and advanced training that Julia Marie Beckert completed. Her path led her to Bali and India, where she found support in spirituality. She did breathwork, learned Reiki and Soundhealing and finally did an apprenticeship as a yoga teacher in an ashram at the foot of the Himalayan mountains. In another ashram, she completed further training to become a meditation and mindfulness teacher. Back in Germany, her training as a psychological consultant and personal coach moved into focus, until she finally discovered neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and completed all training up to becoming an NLP trainer.
