The Domaine des Bergeries de Haute-Provence is nestled between the regional natural parks of Luberon and Verdon. It is reached by a Domitian way which later became the Way of Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle. Jean-Luc and Eloïse decide to revive viticulture in the face of the penitents of Les Mées, which was once the quality terroir of Haute-Provence wines.
Here, the natural beauty of the site, combined with a fierce desire to produce authentic wines, gives birth to 100% organic cuvées. The altitude (580 m) of the vineyard is an additional asset to benefit from the thermal amplitudes that are decisive for the excellence of its grapes. The Estate is also an olive-growing site with its 250 olive trees. Finally, it is the first wine tourism establishment in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
