It is in the bastion of the espadrille, in Mauléon Licharre, that Don Quichosse makes his espadrilles in the purest tradition, from the models of our ancestors (those which are still worn in the Basque Country) to updated ones and more. trends.
His particuliarity? espadrilles made from A to Z in France, from the manufacturing of the braid, the vulcanization of the soles to the making of the uppers. And finally, around twenty “sewers” who sew the espadrilles by hand as in the past.
The workshop also serves as a factory store, a workshop museum where you will feel the weight of the years. It’s a lively place where we will share our passion with you, our love of a job well done, among machines that are more than a century old.
The workshop is rewarded with the EPV Label, “Living Heritage Company” awarded by the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industry.
