ALLEGRA Grande – a tactical card discard game

The cheerful and cheerful card game with unexpected depth • tricky fun for the whole family • perfect for any game night with friends • also exciting for two • with simple rules • A variety of tactical moves are possible with a few action cards + 2 options/move • for 2 to 5 players, ages 8 and up • Playing time 20 to 30 minutes. •With 160 cards (-2 to 13 plus 3 jokers) Each player receives 16 cards face down, which each player places face down in front of them as a display of 4x4 cards.

Then everyone reveals 2 cards.

On your turn, you always draw 2 cards and try to place them in your display as profitably as possible or discard one or both cards again, which then requires you to reveal one card in your own display. The goal is to score as few points (card values) as possible at the end.

This is achieved either by gradually swapping high card values for low ones - or by clearing away 3 or 4 identical cards lying next to each other.

Clearing and pushing rows and columns together can also cause chain reactions. Action cards: There are 3 cards (with values -2, 5 and 13) with which an action is possible (looking at cards or swapping with the draw pile) - but only if an action card has been drawn from the draw pile and is immediately discarded again .

Otherwise, you take them into your display and they count the printed card value. A joker can be used for any card value.

However, if you still have it in your display at the end, you get 25 plus points for it... Tricks are allowed and swapping places of 2 cards within your own display instead of taking 2 cards.

If actions are carried out, any card in your own display must then be revealed. The end of the game is triggered as soon as a player has revealed all cards in his display.

Now each player has one more turn before the remaining card values are added up; any negative values are of course deducted.

Anyone who manages to clear all the cards will receive 25 negative points as a reward. If a player is the first to reveal all cards but does not get the lowest result, his card values are doubled!

Whoever has the lowest card value wins the round - usually there is an immediate rematch, and then another... Maximum fun with just a few rules, tactics and luck are balanced, every round is exciting until the end!
