 The base is identical to that of Landais pâté which is one of our best sellers but it is simply seasoned with a little Espelette pepper. Espelette pepper is this very particular Basque pepper that grows in three towns in the south of the Basque Country. It gives culinary preparations this strength on the finish, which deliciously enhances our pâté, without spoiling the taste. We use it in a lot of preparation, but in this pâté, it really takes center stage. Its red color shines in this traditional pâté made from pork, duck meat and Foie Gras. All our preserves are made with fresh products and meat of French origin, in our small artisanal cannery located in Les Landes. Our pork and duck come from respectful South West farms with mature breeds for a subtle and tasty taste of their meat. Picnics, buffets, country get-togethers, our trusty charcuterie can be enjoyed throughout the seasons, depending on the situation.  Preparation advice: Refrigerate your pâté at least 4 hours before serving and eat straight from the jar on a nice slice of fresh bread. Our Espelette pepper pâté will bring a bit of the South West to aperitif time to snack on or as a starter.
