We are lavender farmers from the Uckermark. We are pioneering the cultivation of lavender in such unfavorable weather conditions. A very harsh winter and a very hot and short summer.
We have more than 16,000 plants in the fields.
Field #1 is the oldest (since 2017) with two varieties of lavender, Field #2 has existed since 2020 and is a trial field with seven lavender varieties, and Field #3 is the largest since 2021 with one lavender variety.
We do not fertilize or spray our fields, and the care devices are also electric.
On the experimental field we study the insect species under the lavender (most of which are on the Red List of endangered insects). By purchasing our products you support our commitment to insect protection.
Our lavender fields are internationally registered as Regenerative Fields.
The lavender is harvested by hand and dried in barns that were formerly used as snuff drying rooms.
Our lavender grows on very calcareous soil (there used to be a lime mine in our village). The mole that comes out from under the ground is white.
The lime is responsible for enriching the essential oils in the lavender, so everyone is surprised by the intensity of the scent of our lavender.
