Luna skirt has a special cut, shorter from the front and longer from the back. Hidden pockets on the sides and elastic band on the waist. The skirt can be worn as a high or low waisted skirt. The raw material is collected from two main sources – cutting clips from CMT factories and yarn waste from spinning/weaving mills. The mixed recycled fibers are spun into yarns, and then knitted into fabrics. There is no need to dye the fabrics since the color comes from the recycled materials. At Pure Waste’s factory, 95 % of the energy used comes from wind power, and it is located in India.
