Big Capers might be an unknown product for many, but they are widely used for the elaboration of dishes typical of our Mediterranean cuisine. They provide a very special touch to all the dishes they are included in, whether at salads, as garnish or in tapas. Big Capers are the fruits from the caper bush, a plant that grows in Mediterranean forests, and which produces several varieties depending on the weather conditions. The harvest and treatment of these little fruits are highly complex and labor intensive; and for this reason, we consider big capers an exclusive product from our gastronomy. They have their little fruit with a pronounced curved stalk, and are pickled in salt and vinegar for a while to give them that slightly spicy and bitter taste.
