Located in the south of Ethiopia, the region of Sidamo owes its name to the ethnic group which was the majority there: the Sidama. The coffee is grown on small farms using an improved method of production. This is a horticultural coffee planted not far from homes; the producers ensure the density of the plantation, manually weed the plants and use organic fertilizers. The coffees from this region are of very high quality.
