Possibly the oldest known mathematical puzzle, developed by the famous Greek mathematician Archimedes around 2,200 years ago. The puzzle consists of 14 pieces of different shapes and the objective is to combine the pieces to form a square. Mathematician Bill Cutler determined in 2003, using a computer, that there are 536 unique ways to put it together into a square shape. However, it is difficult to find just one. How many do you think you can find? When not in use, the puzzle is a decorative object in itself that enhances any space you have chosen to place it in.
