• Homemade • Double strapping in Alpaca • Hand engraving • Crafted cowhide The Alpaca engraved imperial mate calabashes are the result of the collaboration with our partner craftsman, the specialist in artisanal calabashes and supplier of the greatest footballers such as Cavani, Messi or Griezmann! These imperial mate calabashes are handmade by our partner craftsman on the border of Argentina and Uruguay. This very high quality calabash is made from a gourd from southern Brazil. It is hollowed out and then dried to acquire the resistant properties of wood. The imperial calabashes are unique models of very fine execution. Covered with worked leather and surrounded by Alpaca, the engravings are shaped by hand. So each pattern is different. The calabash is sold without its bombilla in Alpaca, also handcrafted! With a height of 13 cm and a diameter of 10 cm, your imperial calabash will have a capacity of between 400ml and 450ml and can accommodate up to 30g of yerba mate. Our calabash being completely handmade, the capacity and size may vary slightly.
