Ground Mace

Mace is the protective lace-like casing around the nutmeg  our Ground Mace combines the richness aroma of this beautiful spice with the convenience of being ground to a fine powder. Mace is the red protective shell covering nutmeg as it grows. It is a far more delicate flavour than the actual nutmeg imparts a saffron-like hue to any dish. Use sparingly. Presented in a resealable pot to retain freshness. It's what we use ourselves so you can be sure it's the best we can find.
