La Passata

Passed cherry tomatoes. La Passata is the basis of many classic Italian dishes. As is usual when preparing the traditional passata, we only use fully ripe, sun-ripened pomodorini (cherry tomatoes), which taste particularly sweet and aromatic. Due to the traditional manufacturing process, the AMODEO Passata is particularly viscous. A large amount of water and the natural acidity of the tomato is removed from the tomatoes in several steps before the tomatoes are then boiled for several hours. This is the only way to create the intensive taste and viscous consistency of our Passata. This viscous consistency is essential for Nonna Rosina's kitchen. Of course, it does not contain any added sugar or flavorings. Handcrafted in Italy. 100% Italian ingredients!
