5 continents - Hamburg Dry Gin Distilled in our factory at Gut Basthorst (near Hamburg) with a total of 22 botanicals from five continents, it is clear, angular and well-proportioned and, in addition to its fine juniper content and balanced citrus notes, also brings with it unusual notes from afar: tart notes from Asian ginger and cardamom seeds, spicy notes from African grains of paradise (also known as Guinea pepper) and coriander, fresh notes from Australian eucalyptus, soft notes with American mate and cactus, floral notes from Europe from lavender blossoms and iris roots. The windjammer docks in the overseas port of Hamburg. Exquisite spices from 5 continents are unloaded in the venerable brick buildings of the Speicherstadt. Distiller Fabian Rohrwasser distills them into a gin that combines the full diversity of their origins. Like all our products, our gin is of course organic certified. Expertise: The clear, multifaceted gin from Hamburg scores with recognition value. On the nose it is classically dry, with juniper and citrus notes as well as peppery and woody-rooty notes. On the palate it is initially velvety and almost sweet with floral notes, then juniper and pepper make their way to the taste buds, which are stimulated by a slight spiciness of the ginger and grains of paradise. A remarkably complex taste experience that lingers for a long time with a pleasantly warm finish.
