Cacao & Cumin rub (mild)

Our Cacao Cumin Rub is a beautiful blend of rich, intense spice to make anything great. Cacao (or chocolate) exaggerates the meaty flavour in red meat; Mexicans use it in <i>moles</i> (the sauce, not the mammal!) for a real boost. Don’t worry, you won’t get a chocolatey flavour - just a gorgeous richness! Working together with the earthiness of the cumin other spices, this is the perfect partner to any red meat or Quorn mince. Add 1-2 tsp to a chilli, Bolognese stew or for incredible richness. It works brilliantly in veggie chillies too! Try dusting a chicken with 1 tsp of this rub before roasting. Perfect for all slow cooked meats as well as BBQ rubs too don't even get us started on slow-cooked beef brisket: heaven! Like many in our range, this is sugar-free, gluten-free, paleo and vegan too.
