This black tea from Malaysia is one of BOH's premium teas. Bukit Cheeding No 53 is a full-flavored, strong Broken Orange Pekoe. Its strong character stimulates the mind – a perfect tea to start the day. A tea with a dark cup that tastes very good with milk and sugar. BOH is the leading tea grower in Malaysia and owns four tea plantations (or tea gardens) in the country. In addition to Bukit Cheeding, these are Boh, Sungei Palas and Fairlie, all located in the Cameron Highlands. This Broken Orange Pekoe is one of a total of four “Garden Teas” that come unblended from a single tea garden and are selected for their exceptional character. This is how this tea got its name: Bukit Cheeding No 53. Bukit Cheeding is the only lowland tea garden in the world where tea plants are grown under oil palm trees that protect the tea plants from direct sunlight. This is how its unique aroma and taste come about.
