Our Greek olive oil comes from Lakonia. A large number of local olive varieties are summarized under the name Koroneiki. Due to their small size, these olives are used almost exclusively for the production of olive oil and are rarely consumed as edible olives. Their properties vary depending on the area and the geographical conditions there. Thus, Koroneiki olives give every olive oil of the region its characteristic and finely spicy taste.
