Tillandsia Xerographica MINI

The Tillandsia Xerographica has large gray curled leaves. The leaves have trichomes (leaf scales). The leaf scales allow it to absorb air and water. Why is this Tillandsia Xerographica a bit more expensive than the other plants? This is because this plant (in the wild / in nature) is threatened with extinction. This species is registered on the CITES list. So only x number may be imported per year. You need all kinds of permits for this import so that the inspection services know that this plant does NOT come from nature, but that it has been neatly cultivated by a Tillandsia grower. This air plant is rare and is often used in artwork or bridal bouquets. - Each air plant is unique, and can therefore differ from the photo. Dimensions: - Mini: +/- 12 to 15 cm - Small: +/- 15 to 17 cm Please note, these are indications! Reality can sometimes differ slightly. When the Tillandsia Xerographica comes into bloom, this plant will have a long stem with flower buds attached to it. This can remain visible for months.
