Let's go back a few years...
It's 2016, and a friend is looking for table legs for her coffee table,
- Ok I'll make you some if you want
- But you'll get there? Do you know how to weld?
- Don't worry, it will!
Two weeks later, the first hairpin legs had come out of Beau-Papa's garage,
Then I had to make some for my brother who had to open his beach club and needed feet for his trays,
- Ok, Ok, I'll give them to you
Then one thing leading to another, I had a few requests from right to left and so I decided in 2017 to create Al-Steel,
Not easy to find a name too, I tried to make it simple, Al, it's just the beginning of my first name & Steel, it's steel in English, that's it, at the beginning it was Alsteel without space, but everyone pronounced it in English 'OLSTIL' so there was a small modification in 2020 with the addition of the small dash of "6".
So I have been on the ETSY** platform since 2017 and I sell to friends & girlfriends & to girlfriends of friends & to friends of girlfriends & to girlfriends of girlfriends (word of mouth what).
In 2022, I launched the Bench Skate Charlie that I had made for myself in 2020 during the lockdown & recently the Skate JOSEP chair, the next ones in the skate range are coming soon...
