Alina Cernatescu is a Romanian design couture brand founded in 2015 by the Alina Cernatescu and Elena Cernatescu sisters. Our style is a manifesto for the art of sensuality. The designs include elegant drapery and original trademark embroideries, exclusively handcrafted in the ateliers supervised by the Alina Cernatescu team. All products are proudly handcrafted in Romania. The Alina Cernatescu brand is, first of all, the story of a family business.
In 2015, two sisters wished to offer women a local couture alternative that would include designs proudly handcrafted in Romania. The brand is named after designer and creative director Alina Cernatescu. The other brand founder is Elena Cernatescu, Alina’s sister, who manages marketing & business from the position of Managing Partner.
Our collection’s design includes elegant drapery and original trademark embroideries, exclusively handcrafted in the ateliers supervised by the Alina Cernatescu team. Currently, we work on three fashion lines: Eveningwear, Cocktail and Premium Daywear. We work with carefully selected fabrics which we carefully shape to sculpt feminine silhouettes.
