Hand-dyed "flower garden" silk scarf.

100% natural satin silk scarf, hand-edged with silk thread in my studio. Hand-dyed in a traditional way with natural dyes, extracted from plants and flowers, respecting the environment. Each scarf has been created individually, so each one is unique and unrepeatable. It has been dyed with buckthorn, yellow onion husks, achiote seeds, chamomile, logwood, and an insect called cochineal. To achieve this effect in the printing, the contact dyeing technique has been used, also called bundle dye or ecoprint. The 100% silk scarves have a very nice drape and a natural shine, their texture is soft and pleasant, a real luxury for the skin! Satin silk is characterized by having a shiny side and a matte reverse side. Silk fabric is breathable and thermo-regulating, silk feels cool in summer and warm in winter. Each item has a label explaining how it has been dyed and with what, and the washing recommendations.
