The Ammonoidea print is inspired by my long-term fascination with fossils, from staring for hours at dinosaur skeletons in museums to picking up ammonites along the Dorset coast. This intricate pencil design features trilobites and orthoceros fossils alongside the eponymous, swirling ammonites. Each ammonite has been hand drawn in pencil and collaged against a rich brown watercolour background before being digitally printed in the UK onto pure, smooth silk satin.
