Amaris and Chaya dolls are a collection of handmade soft dolls which were made to be representative of children from black and mixed/biracial heritage. It is inspired by my desire to promote and diversify children's toy boxes, as after having my daughter, I realised that there were not many soft dolls that represented her or little girls just like her.
My mission is to get those black and brown and diverse dolls in the hands of our children and help them explore their imaginations and create stories that include dolls of all colours, so that they know that everyone counts, no matter the shade of their skin.
