Antique white enamel coffee pot

The original enamel coating is produced according to the process that has been in use for centuries. 

During this manufacturing process, the small air bubbles and flaking in the enamel coating are created - both key characteristics of products made from enamel. 

The enamelling process of fusing the powdered glass onto metal at approximately 800 degrees was first used in the 18th century.  The white coffee pot with black print is classically provided with the fine, black line on the edges typical of enamel. 

It has a large loop handle and comes with a round lid.  The coffee pot is also an excellent gift idea.
